A bit about me, I am Kev McKinney, I grew up in a small mountain community in western NC. I had a great childhood, Absolutely Great parents and an awesome family. I am a very blessed and fortunate man. My family & I have always made beach trips at least a couple times a year for my entire life, I can remember when I was a kid I always wandered what it would be like to live there, I just thought it would be so cool to ride around on a boat, catch big fish, and just be there, to me it was like an entirely different world, back in the mountains I rode motorcycles, ATV's, mountain bikes, hiked, white water paddling (kayak & canoe) and now 40 years later I am experiencing what life on the coast is really like. It is just as exciting at 41 years of age as it was to that 15 year old kid dreaming about it! I wake up everyday to a very peaceful environment beautiful uncrowded beaches and good fishing, and a circle of friends that are priceless to me! I fish almost every single day of my life, some days I I fish out of my NuCanoe, boat, dock fish, surf fish, wade & throw for trout, and some days we go off shore and fish for King Mackerels and other bigger fish, the opportunity for a fisherman is endless here. I am that same 15 year kid with the dream, I am only bigger now a bit older but I still play just as hard! I feel as if I am a kid in a candy store. I tell my friends daily that I feel like I am in my second phase of childhood and I like this one better!
I have tried for many years to structure my business to where I could operate it from any location, I knew as soon as I could make that happen then I could spend more time at the coast and learn a bunch of new things and meet new people, and make new friends, this was only a dream & vision at one point in time in my life. Now I am on my way to fulfilling this vision. I am a business entrepreneur, I do Financial Processing, Commercial Loans & Cash Advances, Real Estate Investments, On Line Marketing. And did I mention I LOVE to fish! haha! :) ..... I love this area and the people that I have met along the way, most of them have become my best friends here. I am blessed beyond measure to have all my friends in my life, and the many more friends that I plan to make along my journey.

I woke this morning to a very Chiller 17 degrees! It is supposed to be in the low 30's after lunch, I'm sure it will be a bit brisk sitting on the surf fishing... But I just have to wet my hook! It looks to be a beautiful day out there!
